Strong to Louisville

It all starts. With winning comes the loss of staff. Urban Meyer and the Florida Gators have lost defensive coordinator Charlie Strong to the Louisville Cardinals, where Strong will be the new head coach.

Strong will take over for Steve Kragthorpe, who struggled for three seasons at Louisville.
This will be Strong's first head coaching position. It is unclear if Strong will stay on to coach the Gators in the Sugar Bowl.

  1. Congrats Coach Strong! Thanks for your commitment to Florida football over the past few years. Best of luck in Louisville.
