LIVE FROM LENOIR-RYHNE UNIVERSITY UPDATE

Just letting out of the final team meeting. The players are now talking some other college football, texting family and friends and turning up their Ipods.

Coach Goldsmith urged his team to go out on the field and use their size and speed. He stressed to his squad the importance of the kicking game, it has been a thorn in LR's side the last two years. Goldsmith added, "It's time to do it between the bricks. The games are more meaningful now and we need to start taking them one game at a time and is starts today."

The coach then walked out of the room with his coaching staff and turned it over to his senior leadership including, linebacker Dewayne Jones of Reidsville, NC.

"I'm not gonna say much because enough has been said already." Jones said, "We have the best football team we've had since I have been here."

"It's homecoming and we haven't won a homecoming game since I've been here and it hurts." Jones told his teammates, "Tomorrow is never promised so lets go out there and get it done today. We are brothers each and everyone of us and today we walk out here winners as well."

With that the Bears huddled up, broke it down and went to think about the 2:oopm kick off.
